Victim of Politics... What do I say?
Keeping it short and simple... I need help with the all important "Reason for leaving this job" question.
I am, unfortunately, terminated from my last position by some really unforunate circumstances. To illustrate my disposition. The current CEO of the hospital I was employed with is very paranoid. My termination is based around this paranoia. This isn't my impression only, but this is also shared by just about everyone in the hospital. The CEO terminated me himself, citing insubordination. All that know the situation know that it's not true and unjust.
I need advice on how to respond to "reason for leaving". I'm pretty sure the hospital's policy is to only release start and final employment dates when someone calls for employment confirmation, but I'm not positive. I am wondering, should I be plainly honest? Should I say something about new administration (CEO is 3 months new at the time)?
I just want to know what to say.
Can anyone help?
