Default Career change

Hello,

I am an engineer and currently unemployed. Things are not running well, so I would like to consider other options, i. e. work in other branches. I have good programming skills in MATLAB (this is a programming language) and there are jobs outside of engineering where this programming skill is needed.

However you must "sell" your programming skills to the employer and thatīs why I am asking you if somebody of you also did some similar career change.

The cover letter and the CV must be changed - I also think that the cover letter must be changed in a special way so you can persuade the employer to hire you. Are there links on the internet how to do so?

Here is a good information which would useful for career growth. Have you heard about Cloud Computing Conference 2010 which is the world's largest conference on Cloud computing and its technologies. I got a wonderful opportunity to meet and talk with the world's leading experts of Cloud Computing. The information which I have gathered from the conference helped me to implement in my studies and in my job. I found the complete information about the conference through cloudslam10.com.

If things are worse then you explained, you could try moving your career into business consultancy. As an experienced engineer, maybe it’s about time you start your career as consultant. Your cover letter must be changed according to the job offer though.
