Apologies, but at the moment this is rather like an American resume with a yucky first section:
"Career Objectives and Personal Profile: A young finance professional, suited to an entry level role in a growing mid cap investment bank, where you can take full advantage of my record for bringing in new business and my passion for the financial markets..." ...and all too brief job description. By improving both you could say far more about who you are, how you work, what difference you make, what you have achieved, what lasting value you are capable of adding. Start with our advice sections. This "CV" is very average and could be almost anyone.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice.
I had used a template from a seemingly prestigious banking and finance recruitment company but must admit I feel like I'm going out on a limb!! Was trying to make it as concise as possible but have since added in my other sales related jobs just as face to face fundraising and a B2B sales job I worked in. I'll be working on it today and look forward to posting an improved version soon. |

Name, contact information, objective then write down about your education and trainings. Then mention your experience. You can use bullets to list them down.

Hi Monica,
The advice I had previously was the avoid the 'list style' CV. And also I will applying for jobs where they will be wanting 2.1 gradutes and I only got a 2.2, so I don't want to make it to easy for them to reject me on that grounds!! Is the general consensus education and qualifications before or after previous employment details? Thanks |
