Summary

- This position will be responsible for increasing Western Canadian sales.
- Responsibilities include direct sales and market development activities with end use customers and strategic partners in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and western Ontario, along with bordering regions in the United States where products have a competitive advantage.
- The individual will develop and implement strategies to maximize sales of these new products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Research and internalize market requirements to align available products with market demands.
- Direct sales and input in marketing and strategic business plan development.
- Understand products, technologies, logistics, and other facilities/resources required to sell in this market.
- Find new customers and develop test markets.
- Establish infrastructure to service markets.
- Field office work environment with regular communication to peers and supervisors.
- Proficiency in PC skills - Microsoft products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or marketing.
- At least 5 years chemical or technical sales/marketing experience and business experience.

Travel

- 40 to 60% travel required - primarily Western Canada with limited Western U.S.A.
