Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and it seems like the ideal place to ask this question.
Basically, I work away from home quite a bit, for a couple of weeks at a time. My girlfriend has to come with me, because really she has no where else to stay. Now in the past we have made up excuses for her to miss her sign on day that week. However, we've ran out of options and she must go. My question is: If I tell the Job Centre about the circumstances, about her having no where to stay whilst I'm away, will they be sympathetic and allow her some weeks to sign on on a different date? Or, could she ask them to change her sign on date to a Friday afternoon? Usually I'm home by Friday afternoon and she'd be able to sign on then. Would we have to make up some sort of excuse for changing the sign on date? Please note, she will actively be looking for jobs online whilst away, as I have an internet dongle she can use. She just wouldn't be able to make the sign on. Thanks Alex |

only part time jobs will give you such type of option.as a regular employee she must follow the rules and regulations of the job centre.
